A 58-year-old man is expected to appear in the Johannesburg Magistrates Court on Monday morning following a fatal road rage incident that left one man dead and two others injured on Sunday.

According to police, the incident was sparked by an argument after a minor collision.

The dispute escalated into a physical altercation between the two drivers.

It’s alleged that the wife of the deceased retrieved a firearm from their vehicle, while the suspect also drew a gun.

In a video that has since gone viral, five gunshots can be heard as the man is left lying in a pool of blood in the middle of the road.

The injured wife is seen with what appears to be a gunshot wound, while children can be heard crying from inside the car.

The 58-year-old suspect was later arrested and is expected to make his first court appearance on charges of murder and attempted murder.
