Rock band Linkin Park announces new female lead singer

American rock band Linkin Park reveals its new lead singer, Emily Armstrong.  

The band announced their new line-up ahead of their upcoming four album, From Zero, and new world tour. 

She will join returning members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Phoenix, Joe Hahn, and new drummer Colin Brittain. 

Linkin Park has been on a hiatus after former lead singer Chester Bennington died in 2017 by suicide. 

The band's new world tour will visit Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, Seoul and London this month, and Bogotá in November.

The tour will be their first run of live performances since Bennington's death.
