Langa community leaders visit the home of late actor Timmy Kwebulana to pay respects

CAPE TOWN - Community leaders from Langa township in Cape Town are visiting the home of late veteran actor Timmy Kwebulana on Sunday to pay their respects.

The 83-year-old actor and singer passed away on Thursday after a short illness. 

Kwebulana starred in various popular TV productions over the years.

A towering figure in the entertainment industry, Kwebukana made an unforgettable impact on many South Africans with his exceptional portrayal of characters in famous TV dramas, such as Aba Kwazidenge, Ingqumbo Yeminyanya, and Unyana Womntu, among many others.

Kwebulana is one of many South African legends to hail from Langa, including the late musician Brenda Fassie, and Proteas men's cricket captain Themba Bavuma, to name a few.

Many are remembering the seasoned actor been for his talent and commitment to the craft.
