Road closures in place for the Red Bull Show Run in Sandton

JOHANNESBURG - This Sunday's Red Bull Show Run Johannesburg 2024 is predicted to cause significant traffic disruptions in Sandton. 

Restrictions and closures on key roads will be in effect during the event, which will feature Formula 1 racing cars.

When fans witness Formula 1 up close and personal, it will provide an incredible experience that will cause their hearts to race nearly as swiftly as an F1 car.

On Sunday, between 9:00 and 17:30, the following road closures will be in effect: Pybus Road, 5th Street, and Johan Street crossings, Katherine Street between Rivonia Road and West Street will be closed.

Closures will also be in effect on Grayston Drive and Rivonia, between Pretoria Avenue and Katherine Street.

Grayston Drive, Linden Street, and Wierda Road are suggested routes for drivers to take instead of passing through these regions.
