Accident on the N1 next to Ga Phasha village in Limpopo leaves 7 dead

JOHANNESBURG - Seven people have been killed following an accident on the N1 next to Ga Phasha village in Limpopo.

It’s unclear what caused the accident, but it’s understood that seven cars including a minibus taxi were involved in the collision which took place during the early hours of Sunday morning.

Five people have been injured and have since been rushed to hospital for further medical attention.

Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC Violet Mathye sent condolences to the families of the deceased.

 "Much as we know these are festive season is for enjoyment, we urge our drivers and pedestrians alike to be more cautious when driving or walking along our roads."
