DURBAN - National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola has lauded police investigators looking into some of the biggest cases in parts of the country in 2024.
This includes the murder case of rapper Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and his friend, celebrity chef Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane, as well as the Lusikisiki massacre, among others.
Both these cases are set to go to trial early 2025.
Masemola said it took dedicated detectives to crack these cases.
“Good, well-skilled detectives - they did good work. So, we are looking forward to the trial to start, and we are definitely ready for trial. I want to congratulate those police. They should continue doing that good work.”
