Limpopo police commissioner orders investigation after abduction and rape of 2 nurses

JOHANNESBURG - Limpopo police commissioner, Thembi Hadebe, has ordered an immediate investigation into the robbery, kidnapping and rape of two nurses at Ga-Chuene Clinic on Friday.
According to police, a male suspect entered the clinic's security guard room and held up three guards at gunpoint.
It's alleged he then robbed two female nurses who were on duty and took them to a nearby bush where he sexually assaulted them.
Police said the suspect instructed one of the guards to lead him inside the premises where he robbed the two female nurses of their belongings at gunpoint.
He then allegedly took the nurses to a nearby bush, where he demanded them to strip and sexually assaulted them.

The two victims managed to walk back to the clinic and have been transferred to a hospital for medical attention.
"The police were summoned to the scene and immediately activated the investigation to trace the suspect involved. The provincial police commissioner of police in Limpopo, Thembi Hadebe has assembled a multi-disciplinary team to expedite the investigation and bring the perpetrator to book," said Limpopo police spokesperson, Hlulani Mashaba.
Cases of business robbery, kidnapping and two counts of rape have been opened.
