Trevor Noah to host Grammys for 5th consecutive year

Trevor Noah is set to make history next month as he returns to host the Grammy Awards for a fifth consecutive year.

The award show will take place on 2 February in Los Angeles.

He becomes the first comedian to achieve this milestone.

Noah is nominated at this year’s Grammys for Best Comedy Album for his Netflix special ‘Where Was I’.

There was speculation that the award show would be postponed due to the recent wildfires in California.

The Recording Academy says it will use the occasion to support the wildfire relief and honour the first responders.
