Performance-enhancing drug syndicate bust in Pretoria

JOHANNESBURG – Gauteng police have uncovered a drug syndicate operating around the Pretoria area.

Several people were arrested in the operation, with officers still on the scene on Tuesday afternoon.

It’s understood the syndicate has been selling performance-enhancing drugs online.

"Police have found a drug syndicate selling illicit steroids, scheduled medicine, stimulants and other performance-enhancing drugs (PEDs) to consumers online. A number of suspects have been apprehended at various locations in Pretoria. It is still an active scene," said Police spokesperson Amanda van Wyk.
