3 killed, four wounded in Bishop Lavis mass shooting

Cape Town has been rocked by yet another deadly mass shooting, this time in Bishop Lavis.
Police said three men were killed and four others wounded in a gun attack in Kalksteenfontein on Thursday evening.
The incident is believed to be gang-related.
The Western Cape's Anti-Gang Unit was assigned the case after a group of seven men was targeted in a gun attack in Kalksteenfontein.
Police said the men were sitting outside drinking when a vehicle pulled up nearby.
Three armed suspects allegedly got out of the car and randomly opened fire on the group before fleeing the scene in the same vehicle.
Police spokesperson Novela Potelwa said the deployment of law enforcers has been bolstered in Bishop Lavis and surrounding areas, following the attack.
"The additional deployments are aimed at ensuring that no further shooting incidents occur. Anti-Gang Unit detectives are investigating the incident that happened at approximately 20:10 on Thursday evening."
It's the seventh mass shooting reported in Cape Town since Saturday.
At least 20 fatalities have been recorded in separate shooting incidents this week.
