Joburg Zoo celebrates 121 years: 50% off entry, family fun events all March

The Johannesburg Zoo is celebrating its 121st birthday with a stellar lineup of fun family events throughout March. 

All daily entry fees will be discounted by 50% between 1 – 28 March 2025.

They also have a jam-packed events calendar:

• 9 March – Guided tour, entry is R37
• 12 March – Evening Zoo walk
• 14 March – Community clean-up at Zoo Lake
• 21 March – Zoo entry further discounted to R21
• 22 March – Zoo snooze and Earth House Celebration, entry is R255 per person
• 29 March – Arts Alive: Jazz in the Lights Event, entry R350 per person
