Zendaya and Robert Pattinson’s new movie, The Drama, is bringing all the wedding feels from the white dress and tuxedo to the cringe jokes, troubling romance and family dynamics.

Speaking to 947’s Anele Mgudlwa and Frankie du Toit, the pair discussed the film’s unique dialogue, which is reminiscent of real-life conversation, allowing the audience to connect with the characters on a deeper level.

They also touched on the film's themes of relationships, empathy, and self-reflection.

Zendaya explained that the movie's ability to evoke different perspectives and emotions is what makes it so powerful.

“What is so special about this is that there are so many different feelings that people are left with when they watch this film. It invokes so many things in people, inspires so much conversation, which I think is really good.”

Pattinson shared that he was drawn to the script because of its authenticity and the way it explores the human experience.

“I haven't really played some of that before… So I was kind of wrestling with this character a lot more than I normally would.”
