CoCT says it's big supporter of queer initiatives, everyone welcome at Pride Parade

CAPE TOWN - The City of Cape Town says it is a big supporter of LGBTQIA+ initiatives and that everyone is welcome at Saturday’s Pride Parade.
The annual parade promoting diversity, inclusion, and LGBTQIA+ awareness is set to start in De Waterkant at 11 am, moving down Somerset Road to the Green Point underpass.

Several roads along the route will be closed from 10:30 to 13:00.
This will be followed by a Mardi Gras at the Green Point track until 21:00.
“Cape Town Pride is an annual event where the City of Cape Town has shown its support and stood with our LGBTQIA+ residents and visitors for many years,” said MMC for Urban Mobility Rob Quintas.
