JOHANNESBURG - A man accused of murdering his 14-year-old stepdaughter is expected to appear in Mankweng Magistrates Court in Limpopo on Monday.
The 48-year-old allegedly stabbed the girl multiple times on Friday, leaving her for dead on a road in the Ga-Thoka village.
It is understood that the suspect was involved in a domestic dispute with the deceased’s mother the night before the girl’s murder.
“The emergency medical service personnel, upon their arrival, certified the 14-year-old dead,” said provincial police spokesperson Malasela Ledwaba.
“The police nabbed the suspect in Polokwane. Preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect had a domestic dispute with the deceased's mother the previous night.”
