JOHANNESBURG - Rape-accused pastor, Stephen Zondo, will make his case on Wednesday morning on why the judge presiding over his matter should recuse himself.
Zondo is accused of the rape and sexual assault of some of his congregants and staff at his church.
He denies the allegation and will be making his case.
But before that, he wants a different judge to preside.
Stephen Zondo brought a discharge application before Judge Papi Mosopa, which was dismissed.
During his judgment, Mosopa said the evidence given so far was credible, reliable and trustworthy.
But Zondo's lawyers said he erred, as he should only comment on the quality of the evidence.
Zondo believes Mosopa has already made a judgment against him.
His lawyers will bring their recusal application on Wednesday morning.
