The man was shot to death by two gunmen in the corridors of the courthouse.
Accused number one, Shireen Mathews, is accused of orchestrating the murder of Dingalomoya Chintso.
It's alleged that the 35-year-old woman sent hitmen to kill Chintso in an apparent gang retaliation attack.
Accused number two, Abubaker Adams, has been identified as one of the alleged shooters.
The prosecution told the court that there were witnesses and surveillance footage placing Adams at the crime scene as one of the hitmen.
Police said they were questioning several people and more arrests were imminent.
The NPA said that more charges were likely to be added when the pair appeared in court on Wednesday.
