EFF member of Parliament, Carl Niehaus, said that the party’s main objective was to pressure government to either shut down the settlement or open it to people of all races.
"So we will not stop until the law is implemented and Kleinfontein, as an illegal settlement, is brought to an end. It must become part of the whole South Africa and it cannot be a no-go zone for the majority of South Africans."
Kleinfontein was declared illegal by the Pretoria High Court, yet it remains a community exclusively for Afrikaner people.
