JOHANNESBURG - The families of missing journalist, Aserie Ndlovu, and his partner, Zodwa Mdhluli, are calling for justice to prevail in the matter as they continue seeking answers about their loved ones' whereabouts.

Police have been searching for the couple who were last seen 77 days ago in Mamelodi, east of Pretoria.

To date, four suspects linked to the case have been arrested and charged with hijacking and kidnapping.

Zodwa Mdhluli's family said that life had been difficult since her disappearance.

Her son, Treasure Mdhluli, said that any progress made gave the family hope.

"With the arrest, we're a bit relieved because now we see that at least there's something coming up because there was nothing happening for some time, a bit over two months."

He added that he was hopeful that police would find the couple.

"As a family, we just would be very happy to find them both in good health, that's what is important to us right now. But more than anything, we also need answers."
