BLOEMFONTEIN - National Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola has revealed that a scene reconstruction was underway to determine what led to the deaths of three Free State constables.
Masemola addressed mourners at a memorial in Bloemfontein on Tuesday afternoon, offering a heartfelt message of support to the grief-stricken families of Boipelo Senoge, Cebekhulu Linda, and Keamogetswe Buys, who died en route to an operation in Polokwane.

Their bodies were found last week in the Hennops River in Centurion, along with the vehicle they were travelling in.
The three were last seen on CCTV footage near the Grasmere toll plaza.
While foul play has been ruled out, a full accident reconstruction is underway to uncover what went wrong in the early hours of that morning.
Inside Bobbiespark Hall, tears flowed freely as families of the fallen officers sat huddled together in the front rows, their grief met with a national plea for truth.
"The vehicle accident unit of the SAPS [South African Police Service] is still conducting an investigation on the vehicle, and our forensic experts — they’re also engineers — they will also work through the vehicle with a view to tell us exactly what has happened."
Masemola said a reconstruction of the crash scene would form a crucial part of the inquiry.
The officers will be laid to rest this week, between Thursday and Saturday.
