WC top cops visit Kleinvlei Police Station after late-night attack
Police said that unknown gunmen opened fire on the building, shortly before midnight on Wednesday night.

CAPE TOWN - Senior Western Cape police officials are visiting the Kleinvlei Police Station after it was targeted in a late-night attack.
Police said that gunmen in a charcoal-coloured VW Polo opened fire on the building, shortly before midnight on Wednesday night.
The Hawks are investigating the incident.
Several bullet holes could be seen as one entered the main Kleinvlei Police Station building.
It’s understood that at least 40 firearm cartridges were found at the crime scene.
Police said that no one was injured in the attack.
Provincial Police Commissioner Thembisile Patekile and his deputy, Bongani Maqashalala, were expected to brief the media.
