DURBAN - Two more suspects in KwaZulu-Natal have been arrested in connection with Olorato Mongale’s murder case.
It’s alleged the two were helping the main suspect evade arrest.
It’s believed they fetched Philanangenkosi Makhanya after his mother reportedly tipped him off that police were looking for him.
He was dropped off at a house in Amanzimtoti, south of Durban, where he was found by police, shot and killed.
His parents have also been taken in for questioning.

KwaZulu-Natal police commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi said they were able to, through CCTV footage, track the car Makhanya and his two accomplices were travelling in when they stopped at an ATM to withdraw money.
Makhanya was then dropped off in Amanzimtoti, where he had previously rented a room as well as a car.
But the landlord wouldn’t give him the car and kept him locked in a room while he waited for police to arrive.
When the officers got to the premises, Makhanya started shooting at them and they retaliated, killing him.
“In the morning, we followed their movements until we located the car. From there we were able to trace all the movements of the vehicle where he was dropped off, who he was in the car with, so we do have the suspect driving the vehicle, we have the accomplice that was with him until they brought us here,” said provincial commissioner Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
Mkhwanazi said they have also intensified the search for two other suspects who were allegedly involved in Mongale’s murder.
