1 killed, 2 injured in N1 collision between Prince Albert and Laingsburg

CAPE TOWN - One person has died and two people have been injured following a collision on the N1 between Prince Albert and Laingsburg.

It’s understood that the accident, involving two trucks and a bus, happened at around 6 am on Saturday.

The road was closed to traffic on Saturday morning.

“One fatality is confirmed, and 2 people sustained severe injuries. A further 63 people are being treated for light to serious injuries. All services are on scene,” said the Western Cape Mobility Department’s spokesperson, Muneera Allie.
