St Stithians will have three alumni representing South Africa in the highly-anticipated ICC World Test Championship final clash.
Ryan Rickelton, Kagiso Rabada and Wiaan Mulder will take to the field for the Proteas.

In addition to playing tons of cricket, the school believes teaching and playing cricket is an extension of the classroom.
“We all want to win, but at the end of the day, there are a lot of life lessons to be learnt.”

The school also hasn’t been afraid to play outside of the box, says Jansen.

“One of them being our exchange programme… we exchange with schools in Ireland and the UK, they are out of their comfort zone and they play cricket in England. Two of the boys playing in the Test match have been in that programme.”
