There will be no place like J-Bay this July with the return of the World Surf League Championship Tour.
From 11–20 July, 22 of the world’s top male surfers and 12 elite female surfers will compete at the Jeffrey Bay’s Supertubes for the 10th stop on the world tour.
“Stop number 10 is the penultimate event on the Championship tour.”
- Bianca van Aardt, World Surf League communications manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa
You will be able to watch SA’s very own Jordy Smith in the competition, who is the favourite to win according to Van Aardt.
Surfing will not be all the town has to offer as the J-Bay Surf fest brings sport, music, and comedy to keep the whole family entertained.
“It is a great excuse to escape the cold. Jeffreys Bay is normally a bit warmer.”
- Bianca van Aardt, World Surf League communications manager for Europe, Middle East and Africa
