JOHANNESBURG - Illegal immigration movement, March in March, is set to protest on Wednesday in Rosettenville, south of Johannesburg, against foreign nationals using public healthcare.

The movement has been staging several protests for more than a week.

They are calling for the prioritisation of South Africans at medical facilities.

There have been multiple protests by community members blocking foreign nationals from accessing healthcare services across the country.

The Human Rights Commission has since condemned these actions by residents, saying that it is concerned about the breach of the universal right to healthcare.

March on March member Nozie Khoza said they are tired of not receiving help due to foreign nationals who get prioritised.

"We are saying as much and much, enough is enough with South Africa, are rotten police, something needs to be done about this police, we are not protected anymore.”

Protesters are expected to hand over a memorandum of demands to police officials in Booysens.
