Opposition parties reject Presidency budget, accuse Ramaphosa of presiding over corrupt govt

CAPE TOWN - Opposition parties have rejected the Presidency budget tabled by President Cyril Ramaphosa in the National Assembly on Wednesday, accusing him of presiding over a corrupt government.
The MK Party’s parliamentary leader, John Hlophe, accused Ramaphosa of corruption and being "broken beyond repairs", while the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) said that the country was now at the mercy of criminal syndicates.

Parties debated the Presidency budget vote where Ramaphosa defended the establishment of commissions and the need to fight corruption.
"The Presidency we debate today is not the house of the people. It has become a fortress of a conflicted and compromised president a president broken beyond repairs."
EFF MP Nontando Nolutshungu rejected the budget, describing the current administration as rotten.
"Today, we have gathered to debate the Presidency budget of an administration which is rotten from the head and which has surrendered our nation to criminal syndicates and drug cartels."
