Man dies after being sucked into an MRI machine
A man on Long Island entered an MRI room while wearing a 9kg weight training metal chain.

A 61-year-old man, Kieth McAllister, was killed after entering a room with an MRI while wearing a metal chain.
He reportedly entered the room to help his wife off the table after a scan on her knee.
“I really feel like there are some missing bits of information here.”

His wife Adrienne Jones-McAllister, told the New York Post that he often would enter the exam room to help her up after her scans.
When he entered the magnates in the machine pulled the large chain around his neck and sucked him into the machine.
“He was wearing a 9kg weight training chain around his neck.”

His wife says a technician tried to pry him off the machine while she screamed for someone to turn it off.
He died from his injuries the next day.
