Jayden-Lee Meek murder: Bail hearing for Tiffany Meek set to continue

JOHANNESBURG - The bail hearing for a Johannesburg mother accused of murdering her 11-year-old son is set to continue for a fourth day in court on Wednesday.
Tiffany Meek was arrested in July in connection with the death of Jayden-Lee Meek.
The little boy’s body was found outside their flat in Fleurhof, a day after Meek reported him missing.

Meek’s lawyer is expected to cross-examine the investigating officer who has been on the stand for the State.
The child’s mother has been behind bars for about two weeks now, since she was charged.
Community leader Althea Curtis said residents are still shocked and feel betrayed by Meek.
"Knowing that she knew that from the start, and so she walked with us. There's one thing that she said there in court, we supported her - we never supported her. Everyone who knows me, I supported Jayden-Lee Meek."
