JOHANNESBURG - The Strong Edition is flipping the script with an after-dark celebration of movement, strength and empowerment.

Held under the stars at Montecasino in Johannesburg, this after-hours fitness party will blend high-energy workouts with a nightlife vibe.

"The night timing creates a party atmosphere with live DJ music that makes it a 'movement and vibe' rather than just a workout, while the ‘Strong Edition’ name reflects the theme of celebrating holistic strength and resilience," said Francois Malan, the head of the event.

The event is scheduled to take place in August, led by some of South Africa’s top trainers such as Ceri Hannan and Lydia, Nathi Thee Zulu Yogi and Nomawothi Bafana.

Fitness trainer, Nomawothi Bafana, highlighted what people should expect during her slot at the event.
"Their heart rates are going to shoot up quite a bit and just to have fun. I think the really important thing about aerobics is that it's a really good way to gain fitness, but it's also really fun and enjoyable. The music is going to be really vibey. I've got a few sing-along tracks in there, so you can really get into it. I think that's what people can expect from my slot," she added.

"I'm actually very excited to see what the event is like now and to be part of the Saturday Night Fitness team. I know a lot of people enjoy this event. I heard really good things about it from last year. So yes, I'm definitely keen to be part of it and to give people a great experience," said Bafana.
