Virgin Active Fun Run
When: Saturday, 2 August at 7:30 am
Where: Virgin Active, Cape Gate
About the event: Join a 5 and /or 10km fun run, subject to weather conditions.
Bring your ID for indemnity purposes.
The event is open to all, including non-members and kids, provided that they are supervised by a parent/guardian.
After the run, we’ll be offering a stretch session at 9.30 am, and Durbanville Wellness Centre will host a talk about gait analysis, which includes:
- knowing your foot type,
- how to reduce foot, ankle or knee pain and
- choosing the proper footwear for your fitness endeavours.
Bothasig Market
When: Saturdays from 8 am to 1 pm
Where: Vryburger Avenue, Bothasig
About the event: Every Saturday, this community celebrates brick and brac, plants, thrifting, and good food.
Down to Earth Market
When: Every Wednesday from 4 pm to 9 pm and Saturdays from 9 am to 3 pm
Where: IPA Timour Hall Villa, Plumstead
About the event: Enjoy delicious food, live music, incredible local vendors, and donkey interactions for the kids.
