JOHANNESBURG - The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) has recommended that Gauteng High Court Judge Nana Makhubele be impeached.
Makhubele has been facing a misconduct investigation for being a judge while she held the position of chair at the Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (PRASA), a state-owned entity.
Makhubele is also accused of advancing corruption and State capture while at the entity.
The JSC has found her guilty of gross misconduct and has referred her to parliament for impeachment.
