Four of the six teenagers who were in the car at the time were declared dead on the scene.
The youngest victim was 15-year-old Adrian Le Roux.
Tributes and condolences have been circulating from community members, who are sending messages of strength to the mourning families.
Kiara lived in Kuils River and was homeschooled. She lived with her father and her older brother.
Phillip recalled how devoted his daughter was, and how on the Friday before she passed, she cleaned the house and washed their dog.
"She is a people’s person because she will help anyone. She will give her last to anybody, and she will never keep anything for herself, and she is a caring child. She cared about us, cared about me, cared about my health - she will always worry about her last."
Phillip explained how his daughter was a religious person, and that he was now trying to stay strong for the family, especially her brother.
Kiara’s memorial service is taking place on Thursday, with her funeral planned to take place on Saturday.
