On Thursday, three men accused of his murder appeared at the Palm Ridge Magistrates Court.

Sithole's family has described the late politician as a leader in both his home and party.

He leaves behind two wives and eight children, who are all still reeling from his death.

Police are still on the hunt for one more suspect in the case, believed to be the mastermind behind Sithole’s death.

His older brother, Sipho, said this is a major concern for the family.

“Even for those who are still behind bars, the family is still fearful about what would happen if they were released.”

The matter returns to court on 19 August, where the three men accused of killing Sithole are expected to make their formal bail applications.
