Police probing woman's murder in Heideveld

CAPE TOWN - Police are investigating the murder of a 40-year-old woman in Heideveld, Cape Town.

According to reports, the woman was killed in a drive-by shooting on 5th Street on Saturday.

Police said that the victim sustained fatal gunshot wounds at the scene.

Spokesperson Malcolm Pojie said that the motive behind the attack was still unclear.

"The circumstances and motive form part of continued investigation. The suspects are yet to be identified and apprehended."
