RTI in KZN investigates deadly crash that claimed 6 lives

JOHANNESBURG - The Road Traffic Inspectorate (RTI) in Kwazulu-Natal is investigating a deadly crash on the N2 between Amatigulu and Dokodweni.
Six people were killed on Friday when a truck collided with a light motor vehicle, pushing it onto the side of the road.
Preliminary reports suggest the truck then overturned, crushing the car and killing all five people inside.
The truck driver who was trapped inside the truck was also declared dead after his body was recovered from the wreckage.
Transport MEC spokesperson Ndabezinhle Sibiya said, “The death toll from this horrific accident that took place between Amatigulu and Dokodweni has increased to 6. The MEC has expressed his deepest condolences to the families of the deceased.”
