Orlando Pirates 'deeply saddened' by passing of former striker Tendai Ndoro

JOHANNESBURG – The Orlando Pirates Football Club has expressed its heartfelt condolences following the unfortunate passing of former striker Tendai Ndoro, who reportedly died at the age of 40.

While the circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear, reports indicate that he was discovered unresponsive at his apartment in Johannesburg on Monday.
Tendai Ndoro made a significant impact on South African football, having played 112 matches for Orlando Pirates and representing the Zimbabwe Warriors in 14 international fixtures. Throughout his career, he showcased his talent at several clubs, including Ajax Cape Town, Highlands Park, and Mpumalanga Black Aces.
In 2020, Ndoro retired from football after playing for Highlands Park, citing health issues as the reason for his decision.
