Some Ford Mustangs, Ford Transit Custom, BMW X3 (G45) Series, Volkswagen Polo and Hino 500 Series Buses are being recalled.
The National Consumer Commission (NCC) says suppliers have notified them of various faults in the car.
Affected motorists are urged to take their vehicles to the relevant dealerships.
Moilwa says the companies are obliged to fix the faults at no cost to consumers, and must notify the NCC so they can monitor the recall.
“The next logical thing to do is to get in touch with their service provider or their accredited dealership that they usually go to.”
- Prudence Moilwa, Head of Complaints and Investigations - NCC
