FBI says Charlie Kirk assassin's 'high-powered' rifle found

OREM, UNITED STATES - Investigators have yet to find the person who killed US right-wing youth leader Charlie Kirk, but have images of him and have recovered the weapon used, the FBI said Thursday.

"We have recovered what we believe is the weapon that was used in yesterday's shooting. It is a high-powered bolt-action rifle," FBI agent Robert Bohls told a media briefing, adding that "we have images of the suspect."

"We're doing everything we can to find him, and we're not sure how far he has gone yet, but we will, we will do our best," the agent said.
