Six teenagers have been arrested in connection with the alleged murder of a schoolmate at Humansdorp Senior Secondary School in the Eastern Cape.

A learner was allegedly stabbed to death on school premises on Tuesday.

The group of suspects has been charged and detained after being questioned by police.

Police spokesperson Majola Nkohli said the suspects will appear in different courts on Thursday.

“The four minors will be processed to appear in the children's court, while the other two suspects will appear in the Humansdorp Magistrate's Court on Thursday, 25 September 2025, on a charge of murder.”
