Police launch murder investigation after man shot & killed in Mitchells Plain

Western Cape police have launched a murder investigation after a 45-year-old man was shot and killed in Mitchells Plain.

The victim was found with multiple gunshot wounds in Tunnel Street, Tafelsig, on Saturday. 

Police spokesperson, Wesley Twigg, said paramedics declared him dead on the scene.

"The motive for the attack forms part of the police investigation. The suspect/s are yet to be arrested. Anyone with any information about this shooting incident can contact Crime Stop on 08600 10111."
