Madlanga Commission: Nkosi attempts to explain Tshwane CFO & brother’s tender tie

When controversial cop Sergeant Fannie Nkosi appeared at the Madlanga Commission, WhatsApp chats between him and Mnisi were a matter of interest.

From those chats, it can be established that Mnisi helped Nkosi’s brother score a security tender from the municipality.

It also showed the two shared lists of companies they earmarked for the awarding of tenders.

Mnisi also shared confidential documents with Nkosi, despite not being employed at the municipality.

In addition to his title as a CFO, Mnisi was also chairperson of the city’s bid adjudication committee, which plays a critical role in deciding which companies are awarded tenders at the municipality.
