Madlanga Commission: Khumalo to make application for some of his evidence to be heard in-camera

Embattled crime intelligence boss, Dumisani Khumalo, will make an application for some of his evidence to be heard in-camera before the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry.
Khumalo is currently testifying before the commission in Pretoria.
Khumalo said he will address allegations of infiltration of the criminal justice system by organised crime and the Police Ministry, as well as efforts to have the KZN Political Killings Task Team disbanded, in preventing ongoing investigations into such syndicates making headway.

He said certain information is sensitive and therefore can't be made public. "Sharing some of the evidence will expose our methodologies, will expose our informants, taking also into consideration the high risk and the current threat assessment of the Gauteng counterintelligence investigation."
