Late Ambassador Mthethwa's children remember him as a 'shining example' at funeral service

KWAMBONAMBI - The children of the late South African ambassador to France, Nathi Mthethwa, say they will miss his kindness and care, describing him as a loving father.
Mthethwa allegedly fell to his death from the 22nd floor of a Paris hotel almost two weeks ago.
He was laid to rest at his KwaMbonambi homestead in northern KwaZulu-Natal on Sunday.
In the days following his passing, Mthethwa has been largely praised for his public service.

His son, Mkhululi, delivered a heartfelt message to the mourners gathered at the Siyanonga Sangweni Sports Complex.
"In times of loss and misdirection, you were our compass, a fountain for those who seek the thirst of knowledge, shelter from the storm, and at times the storm itself."
Mkhululi said his father led by example.
"You have been a shining example to your children, grandchildren, the community, our nation, and the world at large. Hamba kahle Nkonyane."
