Irish start-up eyes UK’s first drone food delivery pilot initiative

Irish start-up Manna Aero has already completed more than 200,000 drone delivery flights across Ireland, with west Dublin serving as a key testing ground.

The drones offer rapid service, with average delivery times of just three minutes. Manna says the system is quieter, safer, and more eco-friendly than traditional road-based delivery methods.

The company now aims to launch the UK’s first drone food delivery pilot by 2026, pending regulatory approval.
