Westbury community blame police for fatal shooting incident involving teens

Angry and grief-stricken Westbury community members are blaming the police for a shooting incident that claimed the lives of two teenagers, while five others are critically injured in hospital.
The community said that if there were better policing in the area, the suspects involved in the shooting would be arrested by now.

They have offered to help police with finding the suspects, but were instead told to wait while they investigated the scene of the crime.
While police said that they were on the hunt for the four suspects involved in the shooting, seething community members said that it’s just lip service.
"Like I told them, I can go with them to the places. All four places that we know, they're still making long. I'm waiting for them."
Preliminary investigations suggest four teenagers approached the seven victims who were sitting and smoking inside a house on Crouses Street on Tuesday.
Police said three of the suspects were carrying guns and opened fire before walking away.
One of the five injured boys has been transferred to another hospital due to the severity of his injuries.
