WATCH: Mariah Carey says ‘not yet’ time for 'All I Want for Christmas Is You'

While it seems like the Christmas season comes earlier and earlier each year, Mariah Carey says "not yet". 

The widely known Queen of Christmas took to social media to share a playful video letting fans know that she wasn’t quite ready for all the holiday cheer.

"It’s coming, it’s all that you’re going to hear for the next couple of months," said 947’s Zweli Mbhele.

Each year, the songstress shares a post on social media with the caption "It’s time" on 1 November. 

This refers to the internet’s annual obsession with her classic hit, All I Want for Christmas Is You.

Her holiday hit has dominated the charts every year during Christmas since its release in 1994.
