Police said more arrests are to follow as investigations continue into the Delft triple murder that happened on Sunday.

A suspected linked to the murder was arrested in Delft on Monday.

Police spokesperson Ndakhe Gwala said police confiscated a firearm holster and over R7,000 in cash from the 25-year-old male.

"The suspect was apprehended at around 19:00 in Bordaair Street, Voorbug, Delft. The suspect will make his first court appearance in the Bellville Magistrates Court once charged."

Meanwhile, police intercepted marijuana cultivation and illicit alcohol sales in Delft after a group of school learners pointed out the house on Monday.

The learners were caught smoking marijuana purchased at the Delft residence.

"The police proceeded to the address in Kaiser Street and while searching, they found dagga trees and 20 five litre bottles of liquor."
