African National Congress (ANC) president Cyril Ramaphosa and his deputy, Paul Mashatile, co-haired the meeting, which was largely described as successful.
Democratic Alliance (DA) Member of Parliament (MP) Karabo Khakhau said the willingness of the GNU to set aside its differences is starting to pay off.
"I think now we're at a point where the teething problems within the GNU, we've gotten past them. And we're now really sitting on the table to find each other and make sure that majority, if not everybody, of who the GNU is responsible for get to benefit."
Patriotic Alliance (PA) leader Gayton McKenzie agreed.
"We've got the lowest inflation. In the third quarter, we've created close to 300,000 jobs. So, the GNU is really taking the country up now. So, we did this all under the leadership of President Ramaphosa. The GNU is really turning the corner now. All the hard work we put in last year is now starting to show fruit."
