Around 340 delegates have been accredited and will vote tomorrow for a new leadership structure to serve for the next three years.
Outgoing ANC regional chairperson Dada Morero is expected to officially open the gathering on Wednesday.
Most of tonight’s proceedings will take place behind closed doors until midnight as internal organisational matters are discussed.
At the moment, delegates are at the Premier Hotel in Sandton, where they are registering to gain access to the elective conference.
