Five-star hotel-grade cleaning, personal chefs and butlers, helicopter transfers, and access to a fleet of luxury cars.
That's what is typically offered by high-end Cape villas, mostly owned by locals, in ocean fronts, the bush and the heart of the Winelands.

“Luxury is all about the experience, the service and making the visitor feel like a local so that they can authentically enjoy all that Cape Town has to offer in serious style,” says design correspondent Bianca Resnekov.

Frequent known renters of these villas include high rollers such as Elon Musk, Trevor Noah, Idris Elba and King Abdullah II of Jordan.
“But the good news is, what I think all Capetonians know, that the best things in life are free; the beach, the mountain, and the sea,” says Resnekov.
